Anonymous asked: What if I'm really okay? If EDs can fool people into thinking that they don't have a problem, then surely some can be fooled into thinking they have a problem by their own minds. I've received a lot of concerns from my family and friends about my lack of eating and weight but what if they are mistaken and I'm truly healthy? How do you really know for sure of what to believe? Thanks in advance.
The fact that you have a lot of people concerned for you would tend to point to you being the one fooled by an eating disorder. Instead of focusing on what you look like (you may or may not be doing this), focus on how you feel about your body and what you’re doing, behavior-wise. This is where the real trouble lies.
Try taking this test. I don’t recommend tests too much but this one is good and is sometimes used by professionals to help spot eating disorders / disordered eating. EAT-26 Self Test
Best wishes to you ♥
